JANUARY 16, 2017 (RELEASE 1.6)
NEW FEATURES:
  • New Agency/Organization Detail Page – This page provides information regarding agency-owned forms, expiring form count, and an external link to the organization. This information can be downloaded in CSV/PDF/XML format.
  • Enhanced Global Search – This feature can be used to perform a full-text search on both forms and data elements. The search results will be displayed in separate tabs to enable quick identification of information.
  • New Download Option – Both data element and form detail pages now support download in CSV/PDF/XML formats.
  • Form Detail Page – The data elements on the form detail page can be displayed in either the same order in which they appear in the physical forms, or in ascending order.
  • Set Feature – A set is a collection of relevant, related data elements. This feature enables quick look-up of relevant data elements in the Search Data Elements page. For example, if a user looks up the Agency Address set, all relevant data elements will be displayed: Agency Street 1, Agency Street 2, Agency City, Agency County, Agency State, Agency Province, Agency Country, Agency Zip/Postal Code.

  • Simplified CDER Library User Registration – Eliminates the need to complete a separate user registration form within CDER Library. Federal users with valid OMB MAX.gov accounts can log into the CDER Library with no additional registration.
  • External links to acronyms/legislation titles within data element definitions, which provide detailed explanations.

  • Redesigned Federal section landing page, grouped by Data Elements, Forms, and Reports.
  • Redesigned, user-friendly Data Element Search and Form Search pages, with integrated Search and Search Result pages.
  • New feature that hosts Agency-Specific data elements with additional filters by Agency/Sub-Group.
  • New tool tips for individual labels for Data Element and Form Detail pages, to provide additional user help capability. 
  • Global Search option (top, right). 
  • Search log capability for searches conducted within the system, to better identify use cases and inform structure of future database components and search strategies. 
  • Verified XML updates provided daily by Regulatory Information Service Center (RegInfo.gov), to identify necessary form updates.

APRIL 04, 2016 (RELEASE 1.4)
NEW FEATURES:
  • Agency Administrators can now disapprove user registration requests, if applicable.
  • The DATA Act PMO will receive email alerts if user registration requests are pending at the Agency level for more than five days. Once the alert is received, the DATA Act PMO will coordinate review decisions with the appropriate Agency Administrators. 
  • A message posted on the main landing page will alert users when scheduled maintenance will force a temporary shutdown of the CDER Library. 
JANUARY 25, 2016 (RELEASE 1.3)
NEW FEATURES:
  • User Registration Form - Federal users can access this form to submit registration information to access CDER Library.
  • Predefined Reports - Report 1 allows users to identify data elements used across forms. More queries are under development.
  • Agency Expiring Forms - Allows users to view and download expired/expiring forms for their agencies. 
  • Manage Users - New Sort/Filter/Search option that enables a search of registered users.
  • Data Element Download (CSV/PDF/XML) - Approved Date column was added. 
  • Form Details -  Provides a hyperlink to the actual form, where applicable.
